This documentary double feature opens with the 1781 clash between Lord Cornwallis and “Mad Anthony” Wayne on the banks of the James River, as recreated by nearly 500 re-enactors at the Williamsburg Winery. (45 min.) Next, host Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and a team of historians highlight the role of African Americans in the American Revolution, from Crispus Attucks in Boston to James Armistead Lafayette at Yorktown. (43 min.)
