Throwback Thursday: "L.A. Confidential" (1997) In-Person

Curtis Hanson directed this excellent noir film about scandal, betrayal, and police corruption in 1940s era Los Angeles. The acting ensemble is top notch, with Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, and Kim Basinger all doing stellar work. 2 hrs., 18 min. (R)
