Plant Swap In-Person
Fall is the ideal time for planting so join us for an afternoon of interesting discussions and plant giveaways!
1:00 – 3:30 pm, Information Tables: Plant and wildlife experts will be available to answer your questions on a variety of plants, pollinators and other wildlife, and challenges that gardeners may face.
1:00 – 2:30 pm, Donations Accepted for the Fall Plant Share. For those who have extra plants that they’re willing to donate to the Fall Plant Share, please review the donation guidelines or the signs on the WRL Seed Exchange Cart (JCCL) or the WRL Seed Exchange Card Catalog (WRL) for more information. Please sign up here to let us know what plants you plan to bring. (To protect your privacy, only the event organizer will be able to see your response.)
2:00 – 2:45 pm, Neat Native Plant Gardens that Attract Pollinators Without Violating HOA Rules. Judy Kinshaw-Ellis, who is a Master Naturalist and a Master Gardener, will discuss how to grow beautiful pollinator friendly native plant gardens that comply with typical Homeowner’s Association (HOA) rules. If you plan to attend, please sign up here to reserve your seat. (To protect your privacy, only the program organizer will be able to see your response.)
3:00 pm, Fall Plant Share. Pick up a free plant (and maybe more)! You do not have to bring plants to participate because members of the community are bringing extra plants to share.
