Growing Native Plants from Seed In-Person
Seeds from some plants that are native to Virginia require "cold stratification" to germinate. This means that they need to be planted in the winter. We'll discuss why native plants are better than non-native plants and cover several methods for growing them from seed. Participants will receive seeds so they can grow their own native plants.
