Virginia Native Trees: A Walking Tour In-Person
Meet in the entryway of the James City County Library (7770 Croaker Road)
The wooded area behind the James City County Library contains a wide variety of trees that are native to this area. Join a master naturalist for a guided tour to identify and learn more about these trees. You will discover the different species, their colonial and modern uses, unique characteristics, and the ecological value of, and threats to, our native forests. Please wear comfortable, closed toe walking shoes. Presented by the Historic Rivers Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists. For adults and teens.
