Meeting at the visitor center in Freedom Park, second Friday of every month at 10 am. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as we will be walking one of the Freedom Park trails while we discuss the month’s book choice, Old Herbaceous.

Over the course of a lifetime as a gardener for a traditional English country home, Bert Pinnegar rises from lowly assistant to a recognized expert in horticulture. This short but sweet story is a perfect kickoff to our walk-and-talk book group season. Copies are available for sign-out at the reference desks.
