From Colony to Confection: 250 Years of Chocolate in America In-Person

Chocolate has a long and interesting history, and as we celebrate our nation’s 250th, come learn about the famous people and characters who contribute to this story.  How did some of these famous men and women play a role in making chocolate the POPULAR food that it is today. Will you recognize who some of these chocoholics are that contributed to this delicious history?  Virginia landmarks we know well are home to some of these historical chocoholics.

Join a talented and award winning local chocolatier, Mary Griffith, to learn how the history of this much-loved food is entwined with the early days of our nation.
