Prostate Cancer Screening with Sentara Hospital In-Person

Sentara Health will provide PSA blood test to eligible individuals. Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among men in the United States and affects approximately one in eight men during their lifetime. African American men face an even greater risk, with about one in six developing prostate cancer. Raising awareness can help reduce stigma, encourage conversations about screening and risk factors, and promote early detection. When diagnosed early, prostate cancer has a very high survival rate, making regular screenings and discussions with healthcare providers especially important. Sentara empowers men to take charge of their health and seek timely diagnosis and treatment, ultimately improving health outcomes related to prostate cancer.

If you have insurance, please bring a copy of your insurance card and ID. If you do not have insurance, financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
