Virginia Zoo in Norfolk

This pass provides free admission for up to 6 visitors (children under 2 are always free). Pass also includes a 10% discount in the Virginia Zoo gift shop and the Beastro restaurant. Parking is available in the lot in front of the entrance building at no cost.

Open: Daily from 9:30am – 4pm. The last admission to the zoo is at 3pm

Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

Please note: ZooBoo will be held at the Zoo on October 18-19, 2025. While the Zoo is open for visits during this weekend, the Explore Virginia pass is not valid for admission to the Zoo for either day.
